Yesterday’s slush froze in many areas overnight, and some spots also saw a bit of freezing mist. As a result, there are icy spots on some streets, sidewalks and driveways. Use the “Minnesota shuffle” as you head out the door this Saturday morning.
Our Saturday high temperature at MSP airport will probably be the 33 degree reading that we saw just after midnight. Afternoon highs will be in the 20s in most of Minnesota:

Southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have afternoon highs in the 30s.

A few spots may see patchy freezing mist this morning, and a few scattered flurries or very light snow showers are also possible today.
