MONMOUTH, Ore. – It was a big weekend for the Western Oregon University softball team as they were able to collect three wins against Northwest Nazarene over the past two days. Bishop again came through to start the fourth inning when she singled. With pinch-runner Sophie Franklin on to run, she would move to second on a sacrifice bunt. Sydney Bowers would walk and with two outs, Hannah Stewart singled to center to bring in the go-ahead run at 2-1.

In the sixth, the Wolves put the game away. Allyson Drury was hit-by-pitch to open the frame and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Bailey Kahele singled to left and Drury advanced to third. Kahele stole second to put runners at second and third for Stewart who came through clutch again with a double down the left field line on an 0-2 pitch to bring in both runners. Following an out, Stewart stole third and came home on Bella Valdes' triple to left-center for the 5-1 lead.

Tidwell closed the game in the seventh working around a one-out double to complete the 5-1 victory.
