Jackson, a senior out of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, averaged 19.9 points per game in 2020-21 to edge Marshall's Taevion Kinsey, who averaged 19.5 points per game last year. Jackson finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in college basketball history among Latin-born players and ranked 52nd in NCAA history with 2,551 career points.
He won the scoring title as a sophomore with 22.9 points per game, set a league all-time record with 26.8 points per game as a junior and claimed his third straight crown with the 19.9 points per game as a senior in 2020-21. Jackson, the all-time leading scorer in UTSA history, finishes second in C-USA history in career scoring. The 2017-18 C-USA Freshman of the Year averaged 18.4 points per game in his collegiate debut.
Jackson set the league record with 367 career 3-pointers made and 868 field goals over his career. He finished his career averaging 22.2 points per game over 115 games. Over his career, he went for double figures in 105 games, 20+ in 79 games, 30+ in 24 games and 40+ three times, including a 46-point outburst at Western Kentucky in 2018-19.
